TSONGMO LAKE : Tsongmo Lake or Changgu Lake, is a glacial lake in Changu in the Gangtok district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometers from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 3,753 m, the lake remains frozen during the winter season.
BABA MANDIR : The story of Baba Harbhajan Singh is about an Indian Army soldier who is believed to have continued to protect the Sino-Indian border even after his death in 1968. After he drowned in a stream, his spirit reportedly appeared in the dreams of his colleagues, providing information and guidance. He is revered as a saint by soldiers, who built a shrine in his honor and believe his spirit guards them in the high-altitude terrain of the Himalayas.

Nathula Pass is Closed on Mondays, and sometimes on other days due to weather conditions like heavy snowfall or military events like Border Personnel Meetings (BPM). Visitors should always check the current status before planning their trip, as closures can be unpredictable.

On the way visit The confluence of Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, Twin Waterfalls, and Bhim Nala Waterfalls are just a few of the amazing places to pause and take in. The roads are lined with rhododendrons, primulae, and numerous other Alpine flowers in full bloom. Lunch will be served at Namok (at an additional cost). Visitors, particularly in the spring, will probably arrive in Lachung in the late afternoon or early evening.

After enjoying breakfast, proceed towards Yumthang, which is situated at an elevation of nearly 11,800 feet. During the journey, you have the opportunity to visit the famous hot spring, known for its therapeutic benefits for skin conditions. Yumthang is a valley located near the Lachung Chu River, surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In the spring, the valley transforms into a vibrant spectacle with blooming Primulae, Rhododendrons, and numerous other Alpine flowers, while the valley remains blanketed in snow, except in autumn.

After breakfast proceed to Gangtok - 125 kilometers. On the way stops at Singhik and Mangan - If the weather is fine and the sky is clear one can enjoy the view of Himalayan range with mount Kanchenjunga, mount Pandim, mount Kabru, mount Simvo, mount Jopuno, mount Khanchendzonga and mount Siniolchu - Various location offers a majestic view of these peaks hence photography will consume some time – The drive will be smooth due to the scenic beauty as in spring the forest cover erupts in a riot of colors as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers are in full bloom - Back to Gangtok Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center.

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became the capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975.
Lachung town is a hill station in Mangan districk in northeast state of Sikkim. It is approx 50 km Mangan town the districk headquarters.The Indian Army has a forward base in the town. Before the Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1950 Lachung was a trading post between Sikkim and Tibet after which it was closed down.
