Daywise Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT PHUENTSHOLING / JAIGAON.

• Arrived at Phuentsholing and meet our representative.
• Check into Your Hotel.
• Enjoy the evening exploring the local markets.

Overnight stay : Hotel in Phuentsholing.

Day 2 : TRANSFER TO THIMPHU.

• After breakfast, complete the Bhutan entry permit process.
• Visit Kharbandi Gompa & Milerapa Lhakhang.
• Enjoy scenic views of Gedu (9,000 ft) and Chukha Dam.
• Stop for a photo session at Wankha Waterfalls.
• Arrive at Thimphu and check into your hotel.

Day 3 : DAY EXCURSION TO PUNAKHA.

Day Excusion to Punakha Valley 77 kms  3 hrs  4,300 ft.
• Depart for Punakha, Bhutan’s ancient capital.
• Drive via Dochula Pass (10,200 ft) with stunning Himalayan views.
• Punakha Dzong – Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress.
• Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) – Known for blessings of fertility.
• Punakha Suspension Bridge – One of Bhutan’s longest hanging bridges.

Day 4 : THIMPHU LOCAL SIGHTSCEEING & TRANSFER TO PARO.

• Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point) – The world’s largest sitting Buddha.
• Memorial Chorten – A famous stupa dedicated to Bhutan’s third king.
• Takin Reserve – See Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin.
• Simply Bhutan Museum – Experience Bhutanese traditions & lifestyle.
• Tashichhodzong – The administrative & religious center of Bhutan.
• Folk Heritage Museum - The folk heritage museum is a museum in the kawajangsa district of Thimphu, thimphu district, in bhutan. the museum was founded in 2001.
• Coronation park - The Coronation and Centenary Park was built to honour our new King His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck. It is built on an area of the land running along the banks of river Wangchu. The park was inaugurated by Ashi Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck on 26th September 2006. 
• Tashicchhoe Dzong (Thimphu Dzong) - Tashichho Dzong, or "Fortress of the Glorious Religion," is a historic Buddhist monastery and fortress located on the western bank of the Wang Chhu River in Thimphu, Bhutan. Originally founded in 1216.

Day 5 : PARO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning sightseeing in Paro covering:
• Paro Airport Viewpoint – One of the world’s most dramatic landing strips.
• Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) – A magnificent fortress-monastery.
•  National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong) – Showcasing Bhutanese heritage & artefacts.
•  Kyichu Lhakhang – One of the oldest and most sacred temples of Bhutan.
•  Nyameyzam Bridge – A traditional cantilever bridge offering scenic views.
•  Tiger’s Nest Viewpoint – Perfect spot to admire the monastery from afar without trekking.

Day 6 : DEPARTURE FROM PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING.

Drive from Paro to Phuentsholing , will take approximately 04 hrs Journey. 

Visit Kharbandi Gompa on your way to Phuentsholing. Enjoy a leisurely evening after checking in at the hotel.

Spend the evening at the local market.

 

Stay overnight at the Phuentsholing / Jaigaon ( Border Town of Bhutan ).
